Cheryl’s passion has always been children in need. She started working with children in 1982 as a Special Education Instructor for the Clark County School District. She worked there seven years and then moved to Southern California where she worked for the Los Angeles County School District in their Special Needs Program.
Cheryl moved to South Lake Tahoe in 2014 when her husband retired. She has been involved with the B&B 4 Kids program since 2014. Not only has she served as a weekly team lead for the program, but she has been the B&B 4 Kids Food Coordinator, buying all food for the weekend food bags and the bags distributed each summer. Cheryl joined the Board as a B&B 4 Kids Co-Chairperson in July, 2022.
