During the COVID-19 Crisis, Bread & Broth is continuing our mission to ease hunger for those in need in our community. In lieu of our hot dinners served on Monday and Friday evenings, B&B began providing bags of food on March 16th at Grace Hall’s foyer. Our service days and hours are – Mondays from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. and Fridays from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
On March 20th, thanks to donations from Edgewood Resort, El Dorado Food bank, local grocery stores, and community donors, B&B was able to provide bags filled with stew, rice, fruits, vegetables, dairy products, breads/ pastries and an assortment of salads, sandwiches, drinks, and meats. Six B&B volunteer bagged and handed out approximately 528 bags of food to 88 very happy folks.
